Singita Elela is a new luxury safari lodge opening in December 2026 in the heart of the Okavango Delta, marking Singita’s first property in Botswana. The name Elela means “to flow” in Setswana, reflecting the Delta’s seasonal waterways and ever-changing landscape.
Positioned within a vast private concession, Elela overlooks sweeping floodplains and seasonal channels that attract an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. Game drives, walking safaris, and water-based activities reveal the Delta’s remarkable diversity, while the sense of exclusivity ensures encounters feel intimate and unhurried.

Camp Details
located within the Singita Private Concession (formerly Abu Concession) — a 170,000-hectare wilderness of floodplains, islands, lagoons, and grasslands renowned for its biodiversity and tranquillity. Guests enjoy exclusive access to this expansive area, offering true wilderness immersion away from the crowds.
The lodge comprises eight elevated, circular camps designed to blend with the Delta’s natural movement and light. These include: Five one-bedroom camps (ideal for couples or solo travellers) Two two-bedroom camps (perfect for small families or friends) One four-bedroom camp (designed for larger groups or multi-generational travel)
Each camp features a private deck, lounge and dining spaces, and outdoor plunge pools, all set above the floodplain to allow the landscape to shift around you. Guides, vehicles, and dedicated hosts support each camp for personalised service.
