The Safari Golfer was born from a love of Africa’s wild places, a deep respect for hospitality, and a passion for golf. Founder Matt McCreedy grew up exploring Botswana’s untamed bush, where his lifelong connection with nature first began. After refining his craft at world-renowned lodges such as Singita, Mombo Camp, and Aman Resorts, he returned home with a vision: to unite Africa’s extraordinary wilderness, championship golf and the refinement of world-class hospitality.
What began as a boutique idea has evolved into a curated collection of journeys, blending golf, safari, food, and wine into one seamless experience. Every detail reflects the precision of Matt’s Swiss hospitality training, and each journey is personally hosted to ensure effortless service and intimate connection.
