Grays Eden

Opened in 2024 and thoughtfully created by owners Sandrine and Sam Morris, Grays Eden has redefined the standard of luxury in Maun. Just ten minutes from Maun Airport, the lodge is perfectly positioned along the Thamalakane River, offering a seamless transition for travellers beginning or concluding their Okavango Delta safari. With impeccable service and an atmosphere of quiet elegance, it is both a sanctuary and a sophisticated introduction to the wild.

The design of Grays Eden is a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity. Crisp whitewashed exteriors echo Cape Dutch influences, while interiors in soft blues and natural tones create a calming palette. Thatched roofs, soaring ceilings, and light-filled verandahs open onto shaded lawns, allowing every space to flow effortlessly into the surrounding landscape. The result is a setting of serene minimalism, imbued with a sense of place and warmth.

Guests are invited to savour fine food and wine, enjoy discreet yet attentive service, and find a moment of stillness before or after the exhilaration of safari. Intimate and secluded, it offers the discerning traveller a place to rest, acclimatise, and reflect, ensuring that every journey through Botswana begins and ends in comfort and refinement.
